Dear Designers, Builders, and Friends,

ArchWeek Green, from the editors of the leading architecture magazine
online, brings you weekly sustainable design and building news from
around our planet.

The finding may not stick going forward, but data for 2008 is
showing that the world economic crisis so far has not lowered CO2
emissions enough to it to show up in the atmosphere. In fact, the
annual rate of CO2 increase has still been going up...

CO2 Rise in Atmosphere Accelerates in 2008 - Reuters, 2009.0225
	http://www.reuters.com/article/environmentNews/idUSTRE51O4FG20090225

As Steven Chu told the LA Times earlier this year, "I don't think
the American public has gripped in its gut what could happen."

Maybe "we" still need to hear more harsh-reality news, like this...

Droughts 'May Lay Waste' to Parts of US - Guardian, 2009.0226
	http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2009/feb/26/drought-us-climate-change

While beavering away all the faster at doing better 1) in our
professional practice, where we take actions with great leverage,
and 2) in our personal lives, where voting with our wallets counts
even more as the wallets shrink...
