Dear Designers, Builders, and Dwellers,

Residential Tuesday brings you top housing news and analysis
every week in this free email newsletter from the editors of
ArchitectureWeek.

We hate to harp on it, but pros know when to face into the wind...
Soft landing? Better check that your landing gear is fully extended.

The United States may be saddled with more sluggish
growth than the Federal Reserve expects as the economy
struggles to shake off a lingering hangover from the
	housing bubble.

"We're in the midst of a classic boom-bust credit cycle
in housing," said Andy Laperriere, managing director at
International Strategy & Investment Group in Washington.
"And the bust is just beginning."

The worst case: Distress already evident in the riskiest
part of the mortgage-lending industry turns into a full-
scale credit crunch that cripples the housing market and
	the economy. ...

ArchitectureWeek is a green publication. By publishing
this professional design and building magazine online-only,
we save about 48 tons of paper monthly, or about 50 large
trees-worth every week, compared to reaching a similar
readership on paper - not counting these newsletters!
We provide ongoing pro-bono services to local non-profit
sustainability organizations. And our company offices are
powered by 100% wind energy through our local utility.
