Kahler Slater, founded 100 years ago, is a design firm whose distinctive philosophy is to design not only environments but the experiences that happen within those environments. Kahler Slater is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a second office in Madison, Wisconsin. In 2007, it acquired Performa Higher Education, a national consulting and design group specializing in work for small private colleges and universities, with offices in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Burlington, North Carolina. There are 150 employees across the firm’s four offices.
