ArchitectureWeek welcomes submissions from professional writers with experience in the design and construction fields. If you have not written for us before, please send your resume and an architecture-related writing sample by email to "editor@architectureweek.com".
Copyright Issues
ArchitectureWeek pays for Web publication rights for both new and previously print-published articles. If you submit new work, you may receive an advance on royalties on acceptance. If you have published an article for a limited-market publication such as a city newspaper, you can find a further, wider audience through ArchitectureWeek. Important: Be sure that you have retained Web publication rights. Check your contract with the print publisher.
You have the option of providing either exclusive or nonexclusive rights to ArchitectureWeek. If you sell exclusive rights, you will receive a higher royalty rate and will still be able to link to your ArchitectureWeek story from your own Web site. If you provide nonexclusive Web rights, the royalty rate will be lower, and you will be able to publish the article anywhere else on the Web simultaneously.
