The works comprising the exhibition include originals – drawings, photographs, objects, sculptures, projects – two documentaries produced by Ivorypress for this exhibition, as well as a reproduction to scale of his famous Dymaxion Car, built especially for this exhibition at Ivorypress Art + Books. This exhibition has been put together with the collaboration of The Estate of Buckminster Fuller and public institutions such as Stanford University, Southern Illinois University and the Art Institute of Chicago; as well as private collections.
The exhibition is curated by the architect Norman Foster – with whom Fuller collaborated and had a close relationship in the final years of his career – and Luis Fernández-Galiano, architect and professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
