	SEATTLE DESIGN AWARDS 2006 The Seattle chapter of the American Institute of Architects has just celebrated its 55-year-old program of design awards honoring the "the state of the art in architecture produced by the Washington design community." 	AIA HONOR AWARDS 2004 When the furniture company Cisco Brothers decided to build a new showroom in Los Angeles, they realized their impact could extend beyond a single building. They had ambitions to uplift the entire South L.A. neighborhood that is home to numerous furniture manufacturers.
