    Six New Acid-Etched Glass Patterns

Walker Glass is proud to announce the addition of six new patterns to the Walker Textures™ Nuance line of patterned acid-etched glass and mirror products. The new designs are a good cross section of our Nuance capabilities and include patterns on both sides of the glass, a brand new feature of our product line. A new online Design Center will also stimulate the imagination of designers and help them come up with innovative custom patterns of their own.

    Translucent Concrete Panels

LUCEM translucent concrete panels incorporate ultra-thin optical fibers with a fine concrete admixture to form high-quality light-transmitting panels for interior and exterior wall-finish, furniture, and decorative applications. The polished panels are offered in standard white, grey, and anthracite color options. Lucem panels are available in thicknesses of either 15 or 30 millimeters (0.6 or 1.2 inches), and with a standard panel size of 1250 x 650 millimeters (49 x 26 inches). Custom sizing, with thicknesses up to 1000 millimeters (40 inches) and special detailing options, is also available. Installation is similar to mounting for natural stone panels in terms of processing, strength, and tolerances.

    Water-Saving Wall-Mounted Toilet

Caroma introduces the Cube Invisi™ Series II, a high-efficiency wall-mounted toilet with minimalist, contemporary styling. With its tank hidden inside the wall, the toilet seems to hover over the floor, saving space and simplifying cleaning. Dual-flush technology offers a choice between 0.8-gallon (3-liter) and 1.28-gallon (4.8-liter) flushes, reducing water use up to 40 percent compared to standard models with 1.6-gallon flush volumes. The flush activation buttons can be installed on the wall, on a counter, or, with the remote option, up to 13 feet (4 meters) from the tank. WaterSense®-labeled. Also available: the classically contoured Walvit Invisi™ Series II Elongated model.

    Self-Stick Roofing Membrane

MFM Building Products offers Peel & Seel®, a self-stick roll roofing membrane designed for low-slope waterproofing applications. It can be used for whole roofs, flashing, patching, repairs, or general waterproofing. Made of laminated aluminum foil, high-density polymer films, and a layer of rubberized asphalt adhesive, this 45 mil product adheres directly to the substrate and self-seals around fasteners, creating a watertight bond. It provides a long-lasting, durable, and maintenance-free roofing surface without the use of coatings or coverings. The aluminum surface also reflects heat, keeping internal temperatures cooler. Color options include aluminum, white, granite gray, and almond. Ten-year limited warranty.

    Mini Spider Cranes

The GGR Group offers Unic mini cranes. This line of compact spider cranes offers heavy lifting power in situations with limited space or access, providing a cost-effective, flexible alternative to traditional tower cranes. A Unic URW-706 crane has recently been working atop The Shard skyscraper in London, designed by Renzo Piano. Positioned at the 87th floor (pictured), it lifted glass facade panels from below. Measuring only 1.67 meters (5.48 feet) wide and weighing 7.9 metric tons (8.7 tons), the crane can lift up to 6 metric tons (6.6 tons). Controlled from the operator's driving seat or with a radio remote control for precise load placement.
