Double-Hung Wood Windows

JELD-WEN has enhanced its line of Custom Wood Double-Hung Windows with a concealed jambliner and tilt latch, a window opening control device, and an optional larger bottom rail. The jambliner (exposed track) has been completely covered with matching interior wood species and finish, delivering a cleaner, more historically accurate design. The concealed tilt latch allows the window to tilt for easy cleaning while achieving a design pressure rating of up to 50. The window opening control device limits the bottom sash opening to 4 inches (10 centimeters) for controlled ventilation. The optional heftier bottom rail measures 3.5 inches (9 centimeters).

Sustainable Upholstery Fabric

"Sting" from Camira is an upholstery fabric that combines pure new wool (75 percent) with bast fiber derived from cultivated nettle plants (25 percent), without the need for any chemical processing or additives. The design expresses a natural rustic charm, with a soft, tasteful color palette inspired by the English countryside and hedgerow. Camira was the first UK textile company to meet the environmental management standard ISO 14001, in 1996. Sustainable production measures include waste diversion and energy-efficient high-speed looms. The company's textiles are manufactured in England and Lithuania, with a North American distribution center in Indianapolis.

Single-Blade Ceiling Fan

The Marea™ is a contemporary single-blade ceiling fan from Fanimation. With a 25-degree blade pitch and 42-inch (107-centimeter) blade sweep, this sculptural fan cuts through the air in a wave-like motion. At high speed, it uses just 47 watts of power, with an airflow of 3,151 cubic feet per minute (89 cubic meters per minute). The fan offers three forward speeds and three reverse speeds, with a reversing switch on the housing. Available in an oil-rubbed bronze finish with an amber frosted acrylic blade, or in a satin nickel finish with a white frosted acrylic blade. Wall-mount remote control included.

Curved Kitchen Cabinets

The Dune line of modular kitchen cabinets from Pedini is defined by its smooth, flowing forms. Whether configured for a corner, island, or galley, each unit is curved in plan, without corners, to facilitate kitchen workflow. The drawers and doors are handle-free, opening via a groove at the panel edge. The cabinets are available in natural or stained walnut, as well as matte, high-gloss, and textured lacquer. Complementary glass fronts also available. Countertop selection includes stainless steel, decorated glass, unicolor laminated, cristalan solid surface, and samsonite. Pedini's marine-grade waterproof cabinet box is made of FSC-certified 100%-recycled post-consumer wood, with low formaldehyde emissions.

Roofing System

BASF and Carlisle SynTec are partnering on a high-performance roof combining Carlisle's Sure-White® FleeceBACK™ single-ply EPDM membrane with BASF's polyurethane insulating technology. The roofing components work together to create a monolithic, seamless blanket of waterproof insulation that acts as an air barrier and eliminates thermal bridging. The composite system is also resistant to wind uplift. Well suited for recovering aged gravel BUR or other asphalt-based roofing systems, Carlisle's SPF-245 polyurethane foam insulation is spray-applied to the prepared surface. Insulating FAST® Adhesive is then applied to bond the insulation and polyester fleece backing. Warranties are available for 10, 15, 20, or 30 years.
