    Induction Cooktop

Whirlpool's Jenn-Air Induction Cooktop offers high-performance features for the home kitchen. The 36-inch (91-centimeter) cooktop model features five induction elements, including a Dual Zone Induction Element with a maximum output of 5,000 watts and the flexibility of two element sizes in one position. The Sensor Boil feature provides an alert when water reaches the boiling point, and adjusts the power level to avoid boiling over. Bridge elements connect two elements to create a large combined cooking surface, accommodating larger pans and griddles. All elements have timers, hot-surface indicators, and control lockout for safety. Thirteen heat levels. Also available: 30-inch (76-centimeter) model.

    High-Volume, Low-Speed Fan

The Revolution® SP Fan from Rite-Hite Fans provides energy-efficient air circulation for commercial facilities. As a supplement to heating and cooling systems, this high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fan can move air up to 50 feet (15 meters) from the unit's center in all directions. The quiet, slow blade rotation directs air outward in a conical shape, eliminating dead-air holes directly beneath the device and in building corners. Precision-milled aluminum hub and bolt. Vibration-absorbing material reduces stress to the hub by 50 to 75 percent. Polished aluminum blades come standard; custom colors available. BIM objects and architectural specifications also available. Easy to operate.

    Framework for Outdoor Living Walls

Kane Manufacturing Corporation introduces Eco Screen by Kane, a living-wall system that fastens to outdoor structural walls using steel wire panels. The screen allows plants to grow freely without the worry of aggressive vegetation anchoring itself to building materials. Each panel consists of two galvannealed steel jamb channels, two face grids of 10-gauge galvanized-steel wire in a 3-by-3-inch (7.6-by-7.6-centimeter) grid pattern, and truss supports of the same wire, all welded together to form a 3-inch-deep frame. The thermoplastic polyester powder coating can withstand harsh outdoor conditions. Available in black and green, with custom colors available upon request. Recycled content.

The model pictured also features a pull-down spray nozzle that extends more than 19 inches (48 centimeters). The other models feature an aerator, a high-clearance spout, or a patented highflex® spring hose with an adjustable dual-jet spray. Available in two finishes: splendure™ stainless steel and chrome. Three positioning options for operating lever. Matching soap dispenser available. Manufactured in Switzerland.

    Anti-Reflective Glass for PV

PPG Industries offers Solarphire™ AR glass, engineered for use as a cover plate for photovoltaic (PV) modules. The product consists of Solarphire PV glass, a highly transmissive soda-lime float glass, coated on one side with a durable anti-reflective coating that improves transmittance in the visible and near-infrared bands, enabling the glass to increase power output for certain PV technologies by two percent or more. Solarphire 2XAR glass has the anti-reflective coating on both surfaces, providing even higher transmittance. Heat-strengthening or tempering is recommended for best performance. Stock sheets are available in sizes up to 72 by 90 inches (183 by 229 centimeters) and can be cut and heat-treated by glass fabricators.
