    HADID - STIRLING PRIZE FOR EVELYN GRACE ACADEMY

    For the second year in a row, the top British architecture prize has been awarded to a building designed by Zaha Hadid.

    The Evelyn Grace Academy in the south London district of Brixton has received the Stirling Prize for 2011 from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

    ENGINEERING GROUND ZERO ON PBS

    The PBS series Nova premiered a powerful show on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, about the reconstruction work currently underway at the site of the World Trade Center disaster.

    "Engineering Ground Zero" is now available as streaming video on the PBS web site. And it will be rebroadcast by many public television stations across the United States (check local listings).
