    Slender Task Chair

The HON Company introduces the Nucleus™ task chair, designed by Marcus Koepke. The internal structure of the seat features a suspension material stretched over a contoured frame and over-molded with foam, providing both a soft initial feel and responsive, lasting support. The chair back features ilira®-stretch M4, a mesh fabric with a four-way stretch. The use of these materials helps create a comfortable chair with a clean, slender profile. The back material comes in three neutral colors: vanilla, fog, and black. The seat upholstery is available in all HON Core, Select, and Smart textiles. Work and guest chairs available, with or without arms.

TXI Expanded Shale and Clay (ES&C)

TXI is one of the largest producers of rotary-kiln expanded shale and clay aggregate in the U.S. By enhancing the concrete curing process from the inside out (internal curing), lightweight aggregate provides:

    • Significantly increased service life for more sustainable structures and increased ROI
    • Reduction or elimination of drying and plastic shrinkage cracking of concrete
    • Abatement of alkali-silica reactivity (ASR) to eliminate costly repair or replacement of structural members
    • Reduced maintenance cost by mitigating the cracking of concrete
    • Considerably improved microstructure and durability of concrete
    • Potential for LEED credit(s) toward innovative design by extending the service life of concrete

    Clad-Wood Sliding Patio Door

JELD-WEN introduces the new Builders Clad-Wood Sliding Patio Door. The doors are available with two sunlight-control options: either blinds between the glass, or low-e glass units filled with argon and thermally sealed. The doors also feature solid pine AuraLast wood, which comes with a warranty against water decay and saturation. A fiberglass sill provides an additional thermal barrier, and the integrated concealed sill anchoring system reduces bowing. The low-maintenance exterior frame and panel surfaces are covered in extruded aluminum cladding with integral nail fins. Available in six colors.

    Mobile Solar-Powered Generators

Mobile Solar Power, LLC, provides a transportable alternative to fossil-fuel generators for remote power needs. The units consist of photovoltaic panels mounted on trailers with deep-cycle batteries. The smallest models comprise the MS 100 Series. These compact solar generators are designed for small events, job sites, and remote living situations: light enough to be towed behind most four- or six-cylinder vehicles, and powerful enough to run 3,500-watt loads. The MS 300 Series offers the heaviest-duty options, with trailers up to 20 feet (six meters) in length and tandem axles for large battery banks — capable of running large motors or powering a full-size home.

Thermafiber® mineral wool insulation products offer high R-values per inch of thickness, along with sound attenuation, fire resistance, mold resistance, and low off-gassing. These inorganic insulation products include at least 70 percent post-industrial recycled content, and some feature up to 90 percent recycled content. The mineral wool is made from rock and blast furnace slag, a byproduct of the steel industry. The insulation has been installed at the Burj Dubai, and is available for commercial, residential, industrial, and marine applications. Can contribute to LEED credits. Also an eligible building envelope component that qualifies for the federal tax credit.
