Solution to Last Week's Puzzler
Architecture Puzzler #434
Question
When was the White House (current home of Barack Obama) first wired for electricity?
Answer
The White House was wired for electricity during the Benjamin Harrison administration (1889-1893). Apparently the Harrisons were afraid of being shocked, so they continued to use the gas lights.
