    Quizzical Pursuit
    —The Architecture Puzzler

    Created by Dave Guadagni

    Solution to Last Week's Puzzler
    Architecture Puzzler #432

    Question

For what reasons would you specify or not specify a fan coil mechanical system?

    Answer

A fan coil mechanical system has a high initial cost, since it has a significant amount of piping (three- or four-pipe system), but it is very efficient and can heat, cool, or ventilate.
