EXEMPLARY LANDSCAPES The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) recently announced the recipients of its 2008 Professional Awards. The winning projects represented a range of scales and project types, from residential gardens to municipal spaces. One of the landscapes honored was at Walden Studios, a working vineyard and mixed-use arts facility in Alexander Valley, California, designed by Andrea Cochran Landscape Architecture. Next week we'll look at some of the award recipients.
