AIA COTE'S GREEN TEN The AIA Committee on the Environment has announced its Top Ten Green Projects for 2008. These annual awards recognize projects that reduce environmental impacts and contribute positively to their communities. One of this year's honorees is the Discovery Center at South Lake Union in Seattle, Washington, by The Miller Hull Partnership (photo by Lara Swimmer Photography). Next week we'll explore the design innovations and sustainable strategies of this project, along with the nine other award-winners and one honorable mention.
