PRESS RELEASE — Case Systems, Inc.

New Bio/Chem Bench Offers Quick Redesign Options

Case Systems product changeable in minutes

MIDLAND, Mich. — Case Systems, Inc., an industry leader in the development of adaptable work environment equipment, now offers a Bio/Chem Bench, which can be redesigned in minutes to meet ever-changing user needs.

The bench's suspended cabinets beneath the work surface are capable of side-to-side movement and can be quickly removed from the cart. Designed with high-pressure, wood-grained plastic laminate exteriors, the cabinets include M3-engineered core board and liner interiors. Additionally, doors and drawers are edged with 3-mm PVC edge banding for superior durability.

With overall dimensions of a 34 inch width, 72 inch length and height adjustable from 30 to 42 inches, the Bio/Chem Bench weighs 650 pounds when fully assembled with its cabinetry. It has a load bearing capacity of 1,350 pounds.

The bench includes uprights and shelving units adaptable to a multitude of situations. Shelving units are 36 inches wide, and they can be mounted side to side on uprights up to 36 inches high. The shelves themselves are removable, ¾-inch-thick, 12-inch deep thermo-fused melamine with 3-mm edge banding on the front and 0.020-inch PVC edge banding on the sides and back.

    Bio/Chem Bench Offers Flexibility
Additionally, air, vacuum and gas manifolds are stackable; so only one shelving unit is needed for these accessories. Power manifolds are 120 VAC and 20 amps, with three duplex receptacles. They can move vertically on the upright set, and the units come standard with a 6-foot cord with a female TwistLoc connector.

"The flexibility of the Bio/Chem Bench is among its most appealing traits," says Rick Vander Weele, President and Chief Operating Officer at Case Systems. "Casters provide fixed-bench positioning, air, vacuum and gas manifolds can easily move vertically on the shelving uprights, and its ability to adjust from 30 to 42 inches in height accommodates a host of worker needs."
