PRESS RELEASE — Case Systems, Inc.

    Casework Leader Announces New Features

Case Systems Offers Improved Music Cabinet Line

MIDLAND, Mich. February 22, 2008 — Case Systems, Inc., long-time leader in school musical instrument storage furniture, has announced new features that make its cabinets even more functional, durable and versatile.

The most exciting innovation is the Caseliner™ shelf system. This polyurethane/polyurea elastomer lining is sprayed on. It offers exceptional protection and drainage grooves, and has superior impact resistance and durability.

The Caseliner™ is one of three shelving options Case Systems offers for its music cabinets. Also available are three-quarter-inch thermoplastic-covered particleboard shelves and one-half-inch particleboard core layered between eighth-inch solid hardboard shelves, each with a 3-mm impact-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) edge.

The cabinets are available with two types of doors. The wire grille door is most popular, because it allows complete ventilation without affecting the acoustic environment or volume level of the room. The grille is made from strong, secure steel wire that is epoxy powder-coated. The wire grille door is available in a self-latching model or with an individual lock hasp. Also available are solid doors offered in your choice of more than 100 HPL laminate colors and edged with high-impact-resistant 3-mm PVC.

Case Systems' pre-engineered components can be configured to store any type and any combination of instruments and sheet music, says Rick Vander Weele, president and chief operating officer for Case Systems. "We have compartment sizes to fit almost every instrument," he says, "and are able to customize a storage system to fit any space."

All Case Systems' components are designed for durability and low maintenance, as well as versatility. As needs change, they can be added on to or reconfigured, Vander Weele says. "Our steel interlocking fastening system gives you an extremely sturdy case, but makes it easy to remove or change individual panels."

"We've been building casework for school music rooms for years," Vander Weele says, "and there's no application we haven't seen."
