BEAUFORT COURT After decades of disuse, the former Ovaltine Egg Farm, located in the English countryside north of London, has been extensively renovated by Studio E Architects as the new home of Renewable Energy Systems. Using a variety of sustainable strategies for heating, cooling, and electricity generation, the project has achieved energy self-sufficiency and more. Next week author Michael Cockram takes us on a tour of this chicken coop turned eco-marvel.
