    How fast will sound travel in a room with normal air pressure? Answer in feet per second (or meters per second).

    Steel heated to about 752 degrees Farenheit (400 degrees Celsius) turns a red that is visible in the dark. At 975 degrees Farenheit (524 degrees Celsius), the same steel would glow visibly during the daylight. At what temperature would the steel turn white with heat?
