CINTEC America offers a structural masonry reinforcement system that provides blast protection and seismic support to window installations. Customized CINTEC Blast Window Retention Anchor Systems are designed for each project based on structural inspection and analysis of the loadings and reactions that take place where the window frame meets the supporting facade. On site, a steel bar in a mesh fabric sleeve is inserted into the masonry and then connected to the frames. To complete the anchor, cementitious grout is injected under pressure, fusing with the mesh and expanding around the bar to fill the space. This process can also be used to retrofit, strengthen, repair, or preserve masonry, and is also applicable to underwater projects such as bridges, dams, and harbor walls.
