    The Totally Bamboo Difference

Totally Bamboo builds eco-friendly countertops, kitchen accessories, and furniture out of premium-grade bamboo — a material 16 percent harder than maple. Countertops come unfinished and sanded to 180 grit, in sheets 30 inches (72 centimeters) wide, with lengths of either 4 or 8 feet (122 or 244 centimeters) and thicknesses of 1.5 to 2 inches (3.8 to 5.1 centimeters). Grain options include flat, vertical, and parquet end-grain. Available colors are light (natural bamboo color) or dark, acheived through a heating process. Totally Bamboo products feature a nontoxic, formaldehyde-free, food-grade glue. Bamboo grows back every four to five years without replanting, making it a renewable resource.

The company offers design and presentation support and custom development, with extensive experience in manufacturing, patterns, casting, fabrication, woodworking, glass extrusion, vacuum plastic, and custom finising — all while employing recycled and recyclable materials and environmentally sustainable and practices.
