(EPI), formerly of Summit, New Jersey. EPI brings 26 years of experience in medical equipment planning, from small renovations to construction of new major medical buildings.

Shen Milson & Wilke and EPI are already working together on several healthcare projects, including the recently opened Weill Greenberg Center at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, designed by Polshek Partnership Architects LLP, with healthcare floors designed by Ballinger of Philadelphia; and The Learning and Knowledge Center at Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, California, designed by the San Francisco office of NBBJ.

New York · 2007.0716
Construction was recently completed on Waveline, a new performance and sports pavilion at the community center for Latimer Gardens public housing complex in Queens, New York City. hanrahanMyers architects of New York City designed the 5,000-square-foot (460-square-meter), steel-and-masonry pavilion with an irregularly faceted form to contrast with the surrounding 1950s-era housing towers. The bent-plane roof is shaped to optimize acoustics for theatrical productions. The official opening is expected by November 2007.

Los Angeles · 2007.0713
The design has been revealed for a new health and physical education facility at Los Angeles Mission College in Los Angeles, California. The Los Angeles office of Cannon Design provided architectural services for the 90,000-square-foot (8,400-square-meter) project, which will include teaching, recreation, and support spaces. The new building will be built to LEED certification standards as part of a major district-wide construction campaign in the Los Angeles Community College District.

Calistoga · 2007.0712
The Solage Calistoga resort has opened in Calistoga, California. Howard Backen, a principal of Backen Gillam Architects of St. Helena, California, designed the 89-room facility, which includes a spa and a restaurant.
