JUMPING BETWEEN FLOORS For employees of Red Bull who are too full of adrenalin to take the stairs, a slide has been provided in the new corporate headquarters by Jump Studios. The project covers three floors in a renovated 19th-century building and was designed to encapsulate company values and stimulate employees and visitors with a dynamic excitement. GWINNETT'S GREEN ROOF The Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center in Buford, Georgia, on track toward LEED-gold certification, is located on a 233-acre (94-acre) site featuring a creek, constructed wetlands, a forest amphitheater, and diverse native plant communities. But the "green-ness" isn't limited to the surrounding parkland. The water- and energy-conserving building by Lord, Aeck & Sargent sports a large, sloped vegetated roof.
