The new Quadra-Fire® QFP44 is the largest furnace-rated direct-vent gas fireplace on the market. The unit generates over 50,000 Btu per hour (adjustable down to 13,000) and boasts over 80 percent thermal efficiency, making it a practical heat source for many homes. A heat zone kit that adds one or two air ducts allows transfer of surplus heat to other rooms. The QFP44 features a viewing area of over 1,400 square inches, a hefty ceramic log set cast directly from actual firewood, a realistically glowing front coal bed, and rugged, hand-forged steel doors available in two designs with child-safety screens. |
