Solution to Last Week's Puzzler
Architecture Puzzler #283
Question
About how long should you allow your concrete floor to cure before installing resilient flooring?
Answer
Ninety days. This, of course, varies depending on mix design, room temperature, soil conditions, and other factors. Most resilient floor manufacturers now require a slab moisture test and have moisture guidelines to be met before they will approve or warranty an installation.
