CMI has added to its family of CraftMaster® Interior Doors the new smooth-surfaced Corvado, a two-panel, square-top plank interior door. The Corvado has a distinctive groove and modified sticking profile that provides the rich feel of a traditional plank door. Corvado will be available in standard 6’8" and 7’0" heights and in passage widths from 1’6" to 3’0". Bifolds will be available for most standard opening widths from 2’0" to 6’0". Like all CraftMaster doors, Corvado is manufactured by CMI from molded, high-density fiberboard to resist shrinking, cracking, and joint separation, which may occur in wood doors.
Eco-Terr tiles are made from recycled granite, marble, river rock, and glass chips with a cementitious binder. Tiles contain 80 percent postconsumer recycled content, and slabs contain 70 percent, helping attain LEED points MR 4.1 and 4.2. Tiles are available in 16"x16"x5/8" and 24"x24"x3/4" and in slabs of 100"x56" with 3/4" or 1 1/4" thickness. They are rectified and calibrated, which makes for easy and exact installation, and butt joint installation is possible. Available in 28 colors, with customization options available, Eco-Terr tiles plus installation is about half the cost of poured terrazzo plus installation.
The Warm Window insulated shade system reduces heat loss through windows by more than 80 percent in the winter months and reduces solar heat gain in the summer by 79 percent. The Warm Window system includes four layers of insulated fabric: a Warm & Dry moisture-resistant lining, high-density needled hollow fibers, reflective polyethylene vapor barrier, and a Metallicized Mylar ® with needled air-trapping polyester fibers. The finished shade is magnetically sealed to the window frame. Warm Windows insulating capacity reduces noise pollution from outside sources and prevents sun damage to furniture and carpeting.
