    Kingsland · 2005.0623
Atlanta, Georgia-based Lord, Aeck & Sargent, design architect, and John A. Tuten Associates, architect of record, have designed a building for the new satellite campus of Coastal Georgia Community College (CGCC). Joe Greco, AIA was the project's principal. The $14.9 million, 89,000-square-foot project, called the Camden Center, is located on a previously undeveloped, 75-acre site adjacent to wetlands. The design was intended to create a collegiate atmosphere despite being the only facility on campus. Features of the building include a library, student bookstore, 280-seat high-tech auditorium, multimedia academic classrooms, labs, and a faculty and administrative suite directly off the rotunda.

The former principal of SBLM Architects, Edward T. Shiffer, AIA, along with his former IT director, Edwin Abreu, has created a new consulting firm: Information Systems for Design Professionals, or ISDP. They are located in the Lincoln Building.

    Ann Arbor · 2005.0627
Eric Hill, PhD, FAIA, an award-winning architect and urban planner, has joined the Ann Arbor, Michigan office of Lord, Aeck & Sargent as principal. Formerly, Hill was vice president and director of urban design and planning at Albert Kahn. Hill's awards include the 2002 AIA Detroit Gold Medal and election into the AIA College of Fellows, and his career has spanned more than 40 years.

Kerry Hill's design was unanimously selected by the 10-member selection panel. The firm has been practicing in Singapore for the last 25 years and in 2001 was honored with the Aga Khan Award for Architecture for The Datai Hotel in Langkawi, Malaysia.
