    The design firm of Lockwood, Andrews & Newman, Inc. has changed its name to LEO A DALY, which is the name of its parent company. Staff will remain unchanged. The Houston office is headed by George R. Jumonville, AIA, and focuses on projects in the areas of higher education, aviation, and sports and assembly.

    Donna Barry, RA has been promoted to principal of the Phoenix office of Gould Evans. Barry has been with the firm since 1998 and has served as Vice President since 2004. She has worked on projects including the Stevie Eller Dance Theatre at the University of Arizona, the Chandler Gilbert Community College Performing Arts Center and the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Performing Arts Center at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Each of these projects won AIA awards in 2003. Gould Evans was founded in 1974 and is a firm of 200 professionals providing architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, planning and graphic design services to clients worldwide.

    St. Louis, Missouri-based Trivers Associates has just completed plans for a new Hope Lodge in Memphis, Tennessee. The lodges will be built by the American Cancer Society to provide housing for people undergoing cancer treatment. The planned project is located between the offices of Sun Studios, where Elvis Presley recorded his first record, and the University of Tennessee's medical center, and totals 45,000 square feet.

    Taft · 2005.0621
    Addington Partnership's design for the Taft College modernization project has won an award from the California Council of American Registered Architects. The $11 million project is aimed at updating Taft's library, learning resource center, and admininstration complex. Located on the campus of Taft College in Taft, California, the building complex is 45,000 square feet. Construction has yet to begin on the project.
