    Solution to Last Week's Puzzler
    Architecture Puzzler #225

    Question

Born in 1852, his father was a coppersmith and pot and kettle maker. Palacio Guell, Casa Batllo, Casa Mila, and the church Sagrada Familia are his better known projects. Who is the architect and which architectural style is he associated with?

    Answer

Antonio Gaudí (1852-1926) worked mostly in Barcelona and is associated with, and pushed the limits of, the art nouveau movement.
