DALLAS AIA AWARDS The Dallas chapter of the American Institute of Architects announced the winners of its 2002 design awards program in September. Among them were both built and unbuilt projects, with special recognition for two buildings over 25 years old that have demonstrated lasting influence.

FOSTER PRAEMIUM IMPERIALE British architect Norman Foster is one of the five 2002 recipients of the prestigious Praemium Imperiale, an annual arts award bestowed by the Japan Art Association.

BATON ROUGE AIA AWARDS The architects of historic Baton Rouge, Louisiana celebrated their built heritage this summer. The Baton Rouge AIA "Rose Awards" were given to local firms for recent examples of outstanding architecture, whether new or renovated.
