Solution to Last Week's Puzzler
Architecture Puzzler #104
Question
What is a handleless bullfloat?
Answer
Bullfloats are typically long-handled concrete finishing tools manipulated by a workman standing outside the poured area. A handleless bullfloat is pulled by line by workman on each side of the pour. Used in confined spaces, the float has adjustable heads that automatically tilt to give a consistent surface no matter which direction it is pulled.
