Answer for Last Week's Puzzler
U.S. drywall manufacturers produced more than 28 billion
square feet of product in 1998. Unfortunately, this:
a) created a
glut of the product, or
b) wasn't enough to keep pace with
demand.
Answer:
b) Even though manufacturers are building additional plants in order to produce an additional two billion square feet of drywall, it is anticipated they will not be able to keep up with demand.
